WOW Last Slimmer Summer Update

Weight 209.  I wanted so badly to get to 208!! It wouldve been my 50 lb gone mark.  BUT, not to be this week.  Keep plugging away!!!  Wont give up!! Wont eat that chocolate bar that is on the counter calling my name like the devil sitting on my shoulder. I have decided on one desserty type item per week, and IM not giving in on a Sunday. Surely something much better will come along!!   That was my thinking all last week, and I realized on Saturday that nothing better came along, and I had no desserts. And guess what, I SURVIVED!!!

We had a 5K at our church yesterday. We were raising money for a lady who is paralysed from the waist down and needed some home improvements and some medical suppies. We raised almost 2000. It was lots of fun, and I cant wait to organize it again for next year.

Where did the time go?

Early this morning we loaded up our van and car and headed off to college.

Two of my children left the nest today.
Ambers best friend Maria went with us to help move boxes.

Colby and dad taking a break for lunch.

I was amazed at the dorm rooms!! They no longer have to go down the hall to take a shower, or use the bathroom. THEY have them in their room!!! (My son says I can visit if I clean the toilet)
My daughter is in an apartment about a mile off campus. (The university has a shuttle that runs from the apartment complex to the campus every hour)
We unloaded, made beds, and my son was ready for us to leave.
Im so excited for my kids. I cant wait to see where this stage of life takes them! Have I done the best I could in raising them. Will they be respectful? Study hard? Make wise choices?
Time will surely tell!

Slimmer Summer Wrap up

weight 209!!!!!!!!! Yes Finally down 2 more. I more pound and I will hit my first big goal of 50 pounds down!!!  Now, I really reduced my calories this week. A bit over 7000.  I DONT know if I can keep that up!!! It was really hard!!!

Still having my stinky situation. I started taking a washcloth and soap with me to work, and around 4PM just taking a break, and washing up.

Started reading a book. Made To Crave. Im soaking up the information!! Ill need to reread it again, and take notes! And then read it again. It talks about weight loss, and giving it to God. Replacing the cravings with God.

Slimmer Summer Wrap up

Weight 211.... Still staying the same....GGGGRRRRR Oh well, it will come, I know it will!!! Just keep plugging away!!!

I really think something is going on hormone wise!! IM only 42 years old, this is not supposed to happen to me yet!  I still STINK!!! Ive started taking a washcloth and soap with me to work and washing off about half way thru the day. Maybe premenapause junk. TMI coming up, so skip down to stats if you dont wanna read..................... Last year I was having menstration problems. Id go three month with no period. Then the fourth month Id bleed so bad that I had to sit on the toilet for hours. (Talk about legs going to sleep!!) Then Id get pubic blisters. LARGE ones that were very painful.  Yes they were tested and showed NOTHING which I knew they would!! The gyn said some women going thru premenapause have blisters and they eventually go away. I started eating one yogurt a day, and using an oil she suggested. At that time I was having some hot flashes, but except for the occasional one over night, they have subsided. I was under LOTS of extra stress at this point last year, and the gyn thinks it may have pushed me into premenapause a bit early and is now taking a back seat.  I do have an appointment coming up in October and I will discuss this with her again.

Stinky situation.

I have a stinky sticky situation.

I work in a doctors from 730A to 830 P. We see people of all classes, the wealthy snotty adults whos parents hand their kids fistfuls of money to very poor Amish. From Farmers to CEOs. From Self pay to Medical Assistance to awesomely insured.

One day, during a break around 430P I went to the waiting room to straighten up, and I noticed some foul, eye watering, body odor. I sprayed deoderant and moved on. I was back in the office, and I noticed the odor followed me everywhere I went. I figured it mustve been on my clothes.

When I got home, my son said, "Wow, mom, you stink." I explained that it was just on my clothes.
I went to take a shower and was mortified to realize IT WAS ME!!!!!

For years, like since I was a teenager, I have used Lady Speed Stick. Since this horrible scent revolt, I have tried, Secret, Dove, and Toms. NONE of them work. So on Saturday, I broke down and bought the EXPENSIVE prescription strength stuff. Ive used it for about a week now, and its a little better, but still not quite right.

Im desperately seeking advice!! Brands, sprays, powders, etc.

Slimmer Summer

The heat seems to have broken. Only high of 90s now.
Now if the humidity would break, AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.

Last week I was struggling with my sugary treats. I decided to allow one per week. I knew that on Friday was my BFFs bday and we were going out for lunch. She LOVES BeeSting cake, and we were going to have a a piece. SO, all week I resisted, and it wasnt as hard as I thot it would be. Friday came, we went to the gym first, and then for lunch. After the first bite of cake, I was amazed at how sweet it tasted!! I could only eat half of it, and I passed the plate around to the rest of the table for a taste. Thankfully, when it got back to me, it was GONE!! except for the icing, and I dont do icing!!

I had a great discussion with my boss (doctor) last week about bingeing. Im mulling this over in my head, and pulling my thots together.
